Behind the old school façade sporting new school colors at 1163-1165 Harrison, a blend of Victorian bones, an industrial styled stainless steel kitchen, and an open top floor lie.

Technically two units but currently living like one, there’s also a one garage that’s accessed from the alley behind the building. And while the building was just listed as a single-family home for $899,000, it has been on the market for a month as a two asking the same.

  1. Does that small bay over the entry really protrude like the prow of a ship? That’s either some odd facade geometry or some klutzy photo manipulation.

  2. you back up to a freeway offramp. That’s why it looks like such a great deal….
Sure, a nice private deck off the back…choked in freeway exhaust.
I really like the place…other than the location I could totally live there. Clean design, not overdone.

  3. Where do you find that kind of monster art, like the big “80” sign or the Cuban cigar piece from the place with the interior pool and dark wood?

  4. I’m assuming the marketing tagline is that they’re looking for a rich young Twitter employee. They won’t even need cabinets in the kitchen, since Twitter feeds them.
It’s cute, but the location is the tough sell.

  5. Falcon should buy it for porn shoots. Just a couple doors down!
You can also walk just across the street to get something galvanized, which is nice.

  6. ^^ And once it’s all galvanized and protected you can go 2 doors up and Fed-Ex it anywhere in the world.
