Octavia Parcel H

Octavia Parcel J

Sealed bids on the two parcels are due by October 26. Both parcels are zoned for mixed use housing under the Market Octavia Plan.

Comments from "Plugged In" Readers

I wish someone would propose merging these two properties and building a project with a diagonal pedestrian path/plaza from Hayes towards City Hall (sort of along the lines of the lower photo). Besides creating about a block of "extra" commercial, ground-level possibilities, it would do a lot to tie Civic Center and Hayes Valley and give some life to the City's least neighborhoody neighborhood.

Oops. I thought we were talking about J and I, not J and H.

I assume Parcel I has already been disposed of?SF

Correction: Parcel H is on the Northwest corner of Gough and Grove.
