This Isn't Exactly How Mr. Hammett Used To Roll (2505 Divisadero)

While the list price for 2505 Divisadero (the Pacific Heights manse that Metallica bought) hasn’t recently changed, the same can’t be said for its interior. So no, this isn't exactly how Mr. Hammett used to roll.

Kirk - or rather, his trust - paid like $2.6 million for this place in 1993.

Yep, $10 mil just ain't what it used to be...
Ahh, the joys of inflation.

Yeah, the new interior pix have been around for awhile. It probably still needs at least 5 million in upgrades.
I've also decided that people who can afford these homes don't want to pay 10 million for a Divisadero address. Don Johnson's old house on Divis and Vallejo suffered the same fate and was pulled from the market.
Meanwhile, 2820 Pacific a couple of doors down is in contract. Asking price is now 16 (down from 17.5).

Does anyone remember the giant skeleton that was in the stairwell, or whatever that thing was?

What is that kitchen for? Disposing of the corpses? Hell-oh! There is such a thing as too Goth!

Click below to see Kirk's slightly more satanic version of the same kitchen.
