Worth The Wait: 900 Minnesota (An Update)

An update on the redevelopment of 900 Minnesota (the former Esprit campus) from an insider: “[T]he project is now expected to deliver finished homes this fall (2007) in the adapted/ renovated brick buildings. The second phase will follow over the subsequent 10 months. Recycling pre-existing materials has taken longer than expected, but worth it.”

So far I haven't been able to find any floorplan porn or other web stuff on this development. Anyone?? And pricing?? Seems like central waterfront/dogpatch is typically a notch cheaper than SOMA. In some sense people are 'pioneers' there - to the extend they can be pioneers in one of the city's oldest neighborhoods. In another sense it seems like a real neighborhood - as opposed to the colossal projects going up in Mission bay just to the north. If a good plan takes shape with Pier 70, I think Dogpatch will become that much more attractive.

From the original SocketSite post:
"Prices on the individual condos (one and two bedrooms) have not been set, but back in February they were expected to range from $600,000 to $1,000,000."

And I have to agree with regard to the potential for Dogpatch to continue to evolve into another great neighborhood, especially with the completion of the 3rd street Muni line.
