Got Vision?

221 Danvers: The Cottage

While the cottage behind 221 Danvers is most definitely “before,” we can’t help but daydream about how we’d turn it into a Dwell (or SocketSite) worthy “after.” Now if only the combined price (house and cottage) was more "before" than "after"...

That is such a cool property...I remember seeing it when it was on the market several years back. It's surprising that it doesn't seem to have ever been renovated.

It's just around the corner from the church that was occupied by the gay synagogue. When it moved to new digs at 16th and Dolores, the transformation of the church into a house was profiled in "this old house". But I digress.

Are you out of your bloody minds. WHY would anyone want to turn this great building into a generic dwell house is beyond me. Fantastic color. Roof looks like it needs some work and possibly some other weather work but to turn it into another boringgggggggg Dwell structure. Ah .... NO.

What's up with the structure that appears to be on top of the roof of the cottage? In addition, DWELL IT UP BABY!!
