Geek Out With Google Earth

Speaking of non-MLS based listing/search companies, this morning Trulia joined Propsmart in exporting search results to Google Earth. Once added to Google Earth, results from your query are automatically updated once a day.

And it just begs the question, has anyone done (or found) a “SketchUp” for an active listing? If so, please drop us a note: tips@socketsite.com.

Trulia's database is hopelessly incomplete with many current listings being omitted; those that are there are frequently out of date, i.e. old listings of properties that have been withdrawn / sold months ago. No serious search can be accomplished with such a tool
