It’s Feeling A Wee Bit Like Scotland

It might have started as a “pocket listing” (i.e., not on the MLS) at $5,750,000, but 2714 Pacific has since been listed at $4,995,000 (a 13% reduction).
And perhaps it’s just the weather over the past couple of days, but we can’t stop fixating on the four working fireplaces (especially the one “imported from a castle in Scotland”). Yet again, the pictures don’t do it justice. (Yes, we’ve been.)

Bleah! Pocket listings are always way over. I won't even bother with them: told my realtor to stop calling with them.
They just scream "We're testing the owner's proposed price at which the realtor is too embarrased to list and from which the realtor doesn't want to show a reduction, so can you come by and confirm what the realtor is telling the owner." Bah! Waste of a buyer's time.

Note to self: Always double check the property address when posting that address on SocketSite.com(TM). You never know when a mistake might be made...

Yep, it happens to the best of us. While we correctly identified this home as 2714 in the photo tag, we originally misidentified it as 2718 in the body of the post (since corrected).
