Families Are Fleeing

While babies are booming in San Francisco, “school enrollment is slipping, and the city's school-age population is sliding.” Why? Families are fleeing the city in search of larger abodes, yards, and “affordable” housing. Go figure.

of course, housing San Mateo County continues to be as expensive as San Francisco, which would indicate price is quite low on the motivation list.

Am I the only person who wonders why no one is leaving SF to move to Santa Clara? That's gotta be a mistake.
