999 Wisconsin
A reader tips us off to the listing for 999 Wisconsin St. #8. On paper it looks like a real winner: 1900 square feet, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, fireplace, 2 car side-by-side parking, and a list price of only $699,500. Yet two price reductions (first listed at $749,000) and 76 days later, it’s still on the market.
So despite being “Priced to sell!” why hasn’t it? We’re thinking “location, location, location“. But that’s just us.

  1. It’s true, the location is less than desirable. That said, 1550-1552 22nd St. is in just as bad of a location and those condo’s are priced MUCH higher (my thoughts–those sit there for a very long time and undergo price reductions as well).

  2. We went to see this last Sunday out of curiousity (NOT interest!). There were other people there who were not familiar with the neighborhood, including a family with two small children– pretty funny. The liquor store is across the street, and on a rainy Sunday before noon, the liquor store was already populated with the neighbors.
Way too close to the bunkers for my taste!
    The condo is huge, though.
