Mission Bay “Park P6” is a triangular parcel of land measuring a little over an acre at the intersection of Long Bridge and China Basin Streets.
The eastern two-thirds of the parcel is in the process of being transformed into a the only dedicated Children’s Playground planned for Mission Bay, while the western side of the site will become a general park area, with a patch of turf, a picnic seating area and a landscaped bioswales used to treat storm water runoff generated by the park.
And if all goes as planned, construction of the Mission Bay Children’s Park should be completed this May.
