In addition to the home’s entrance and garage on Montclair, there’s an entrance and garage on Chestnut Street as well, and of course a second elevator:

And while not noted in the listing, according to tax records, the four-bedroom home which was designed by Gardner Dailey in 1938 measures just over 5,100 square feet inside.

  1. I like the way this looks, although it does look more like a mid rise than a house. (If it were in the dogpatch or mission, people would be calling it bland an generic.) As for street appeal, if the neighborhood ever goes to war, I’m hanging out in the garage with an M-16.

  2. You’d think they could make that garage look a little less like a big box, especially when it’s front and center like that. At least put a couple of windows on it.

  3. Yeah those books at the foot of the bed make me feel uneasy. I’d kick them off in the middle of the night.

  4. UPDATE: The listing for 65 Montclair Terrace has just returned to the MLS with a price which has been reduced by $1 million to $8,950,000 and an official “3” days on the market.

  5. UPDATE: After a little over two months on the market asking $8,950,000, the listing for 65 Montclair Terrace has once again been withdrawn from the MLS without a reported sale.
