Big Swinging In Sausalito With A Sandbox For The Adults
Featured on the American Institute of Architects 2012 tour of Marin homes, while 525 Bridegeway hasn’t yet been listed, the modern three-level home is about to hit the market over in Sausalito.
The open first floor features a living room with floor-to-ceiling windows, access to the south facing patio with grill and hot tub, and a high-end kitchen outfitted with concrete countertops.
Atop the second level with two bedrooms and two en-suite baths, the top-floor master suite features a wall of retractable glass overlooking the Sausalito and San Francisco Bay.
And through the swank master bath, there's a private sandbox "beach" and deck:

That sandbox is inventive. But I'll bet it gets replaced with ordinary tile or wood decking after the novelty wears off and the owners tire of cleaning (both the sandbox and the sand from the bathroom).

Is the cinderblock building with the tiny windows right below this house the local jail, a cheap motel, or public housing?
It mars the view, and for this price, I would not want to be right on top of something so ugly, or deal with the noise from it.

The sandbox will quickly go away when the neighborhood kitties find it.

lol @ the 10:10AM comment.
Nope, it's not a jail. It's 523 Bridgeway. And it looks perfectly nice to me.

It's a sweet house. Been in it many times and will be quite the pad for an internet millionaire...
