  1. funny, we don’t need “dispensaries” dedicated to a single consumable for any other product.
are we seeing a dispensary bubble?
in 5-10 years, IMO, this product will be sold in any walgreens or CVS (and perhaps any liquor or grocery store).

  2. Love this, since we live just a few blocks east on Howard! Our Fresno shops are having trouble staying open; let’s see how they do here in ES EF. And, no, I don’t use marijuana in any form, but I love the entrepreneurial spirit.

  3. Walked by here this morning. Big sign on the door about a public hearing.
On another note, I love the two buildings, side by side, that look like they were built about the same time. Similar architectural details. They remind me of a favorite building of mine on Spear, The University Art Store.

  4. Pushed again, the Planning Commission is scheduled to review the proposed medical marijuana dispensary at 527 Howard this week. The preliminary recommendation: “Approve the Application with Conditions.”

  5. The only way chain stores will sell marijuana is if the federal laws change. They’re not going to want to be open for prosecution by the feds.

  6. If the Federal Laws ever allow for medical marijuana buy stock in drug stores!
Walgreens – 1920’s had 44 stores, by 1934 it had 600 stores. Ah the benefits of medicinal alcohol during Prohibition!
