And while the listing is currently active on the MLS, according to a plugged-in tipster an offer of $575,000 has reportedly been accepted.
Industry statistics currently reflect an “official” 36 days on the market for the property.

    I want the hear the logic of “how the general market never applies to SF because it’s an outlier” combined with “the general market is rebounding and it bodes well for SF”.
    Come on!! Supply us with the logical contortions!

    tarted up and all that, but property value vs. structure value?

  3. Interesting — this, from my view would have to be a tear down. It was built soon after the quake, and according to the former owner, the walls are filled with horse hair.
    It is possible – maybe, for a brilliant designer to reimagine the space somehow — but it was lost on me!

  4. This looks like one of the cottages that were fabricated as temporary housing after the 1906 earthquake.

  5. If this were an earthquake cottage, you would have a hell of a time tearing it down. I suspect it is not officially one, since it appears to have been built in 1910, but you may still have trouble tearing it down.
