  1. Speaking of internet brokers, SS hasn’t mentioned the NAR settlement with the DOJ that prevents local MLS’s from blocking online realtors. Reuters specifically mentioned that this could lower commissions and prevent anti-competitiveness. Despite the claim that the database is proprietary, certainly clients have an interest in seeing their properties advertised as openly as possible. I’m suprised the Bush DOJ agrees with me for once.
    Currently I know the SF MLS isn’t blocking the internet brokers, but I remember a year or so back they were threatening to take the MLS offline.

  2. Its kinda cool aesthetically, but its a pain to actually use. I agree with “Outer Sunset” – would be nice to search by ‘hood.
