Without having to listen to Newsom's cliche politician personality, what exactly did he say, and how much can be disproven with one search of Google? Or real life situations? I know the homeless problem and crime seems worse, did he address this?

You can interchange the 2006 speech with the 2007 speech. Same thing really.
