1374 Fulton Interior
Perhaps it’s just the transition into the holiday months, but ever since we caught a glimpse inside 1374 Fulton we just can’t get the Snow Miser’s theme song (from A Year Without A Santa Claus) out of our heads. (For the record, we’re partial to the Heat Miser.) Oh, and “Price reduced $150,000-Motivated Seller has purchased new home.”

  1. For 1.7M, you would think they’d spend a little to update the kitchen and flooring… No wonder it’s not selling.

  2. What are you talking about? Our relator said we should just swap out out old fridge for a stainless one, and the buyers would think the kitchen is brand new.
What gave away the fact that the kitchen is tired and dated?

  3. The fact that there are 6 bedrooms and only 2 baths may also have something to do with why it’s not selling. Its problems are more than cosmetic.

  4. This looks like an as-is old house where someone has rented a spray paint rig and gone wild with a couple hundred gallons of white paint (after masking off the kitchen). Then they bought one color of cheap wall-to-wall carpet for the entire house. I bet the white paint is all over the floor uncer the carpet. Add a couple light fixtures and it is ready to stage.

  5. This home is very odd — almost like something you would expect to see in a movie’s dream sequence. The kitchen is just horrible. They should have spent less on custom window treatments and put that money into the kitchen.
What is even more disturbing is the child’s bedroom. The headboard looks like something from a church. This room almost feels like the bed is a coffin. It gave me the creeps.

  6. There is something very strange going on here. Ask for a pest report- they don’t have one! A first for San Francisco…maybe scared of the result? In addition to the appalling kitchen, the whole of back deck is rotten, there is NO heating and the inlaw is a mess.
